Aaron Styles, Founder
My professional career spanning over 33+ years, working in 100+ locations with 44+ companies in 10 countries on 5 continents. Across all that time and all those organizations, I have observed that there is a tremendous amount of untapped potential in almost every human being and organization, waiting to be unleashed.
Over the course of a career spanning more than three decades, he has enjoyed tremendous success in improving business processes and developing people in a wide variety of industries, companies, processes and functions. His process improvement expertise has been developed from Industrial Engineering and Operational Excellence principles, beginning with earning his BS in Industrial Engineering from NC State University, a Certification in Lean Manufacturing from the University of Kentucky, and excellent mentorship from author/consultant Mike Rother and former Denso executive Roy Nakaue.
This learning has been applied over the course of his career in a dozen industries, across five continents, ten countries, over 100 locations, and more than three dozen companies. Since 2002, Aaron has been directly responsible for generating over $70M in annualized cash flow for his employers and clients. Over the course of his career, Aaron has demonstrated the ability to identify opportunities where others fail to see them and deliver results where others are unable to achieve them.
While the ability to create process improvement and generate financial benefit is important, the gains cannot be sustained unless people and culture are developed simultaneously. Early in his career, Aaron benefited from principles gleaned from the Dale Carnegie course and the Stephen Covey Seven Habits of Highly Effective People course. These gave him insights as to the importance of developing self and others and how to be effective in the dynamics of human relations. Adding these to the principles of Christian discipleship and Toyota’s principle of Respect for People have given Aaron a very effective framework for facilitative leadership. The result is a coaching style that focuses on development of direct reports while delivering excellent business results. It creates a highly motivated, engaged, effective, and loyal workforce that can sustain change, solve problems, and continuously improve.
As a consultant, Aaron routinely converted hostile shop stewards into engaged agents of change. Aaron has created alignment on dozens of leadership teams where confusion and conflict previously reigned. In the past 10 years, Aaron has incorporated the concepts of Chris Argyris’ Double-Loop Learning, Ken Nair’s insights on becoming Spiritually Functional, Mike Rother’s Coaching and Improvement Kata, and the International Coaching Federation’s certification program in Professional Coaching into his leadership framework. All these, with the leadership and coaching experience gained over a career spanning three decades of progressive formal and informal leadership responsibility have equipped Aaron to Coach others with unique effectiveness.
